Codex Theme is an unofficial community tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI. Product and company names belong to their respective owners.
Your content
You remain responsible for wallpapers, pet spritesheets, names, prompts and source links you use. Do not redistribute copyrighted characters, celebrity likenesses, logos or other protected material without permission.
Community listings
Codex Theme organizes and displays theme and pet creator submissions and source-linked recommendations; it does not claim ownership of them. A submission may be edited, declined, labeled, or removed. Operator-published assets may appear immediately only when the operator has created them or has suitable publication rights; other discoveries remain source links until rights are verified.
Rights reports
Send a specific report to copyright@codextheme.tools. We promptly review valid claims and may remove or disable a listing, request supporting information, notify the submitter, or refuse repeated rights violations.
Exports and installation
Wallpaper, recipe and pet-package exports are provided as-is. They are data, not executable installers. Installation guides can reference separate upstream open-source projects whose code, releases and instructions can change. Review commands, licenses, atlas quality and compatibility before use.
Risk and recovery
External theming can stop working after app updates and local debugging interfaces are powerful. Keep trusted software only, verify the live UI and learn the restore flow before applying a theme.
Free service and optional accounts
Every Theme, Pet, and download workflow is free and needs no registration. An optional Google account only stores a small free AI theme-generation allowance. It cannot be bought, sold, or transferred, and it has no cash value.
No sales or refunds
Codex Theme no longer sells anything. There are no credit packs, subscriptions, or checkout. Every tool and download is free, so there is nothing to refund. See the refund policy for questions about earlier charges.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Codex Theme is provided “as is” and “as available.” Guides, previews, compatibility notes, community listings, generated recipes, wallpaper exports and pet packages may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, incompatible, infringing or unsuitable. They are not legal, security, licensing or other professional advice. Review source rights, commands, files, compatibility and restore steps before relying on or installing anything. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, reputational, lost-profit or lost-data damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Codex Theme during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory rights and liabilities remain unaffected.
Breach, suspension and termination
You are responsible for your uploads, submissions, source rights, exported files, installation decisions and losses or third-party claims caused by unlawful or unauthorized use. We may edit or remove a listing, limit features, suspend service, freeze disputed credits, revoke an entitlement or terminate an account for a material or repeated breach, infringement, fraud, chargeback abuse, security risk, non-payment, platform abuse or a legal requirement. We may act immediately where necessary to protect users, the service, an upstream project or a third party. Refunds after enforcement follow the refund policy and mandatory law; consumed credits or service are not refunded solely because access was terminated for breach. You may cancel a membership as described above and request account closure at hello@codextheme.tools. If we terminate prepaid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will refund the unused prepaid portion where applicable.
